Luminoso (2006) and Scorrevole (2006) were written for Lawrence Power and Simon Crawford-Phillips, who gave the first performance at Cadogan Hall, London, on 28 August 2006, as part of the BBC Proms Chamber Music Series.

Calmo (1999) was first performed by Lawrence Power and Simon Crawford-Phillips at the Purcell Room, London, on 10 January 2000, as part of Park Lane Group's Young Artists New Year Series.

Oscuro (1999) was written for Paul Silverthorne and recorded by him with John Constable in 2001 for Invocations, Contemporary Viola Works on Blackbox BBM 1058. The first public performance was given by Brett Dean and Benjamin Martin at Collins Street Baptist Church, Melbourne, Australia on 31 August 2004.
